High up on the slope of Mauna Loa volcano, there's a little Kona coffee farm called Kena.

Tucked away in the back there are 700 coffee trees that produce some of the best coffee in the world. There, the coffee is hand-picked to ensure only the best beans are picked at maximum ripeness.

Lovingly tended throughout the year, the coffee trees yield an amazing crop of fresh beans every winter. From seed to cup, there is no better coffee available anywhere.

Each tree produces only 2 pounds of roasted coffee each season. Each tree is picked many times throughout the year, and only the best beans go into each bag of Kena coffee.

Try some yourself and discover one of the best treats in life - Kena Pure Kona Coffee.

"I have purchased coffee from Kena Pure Kona Coffee several times. This company has proven itself to be "top notch" in all aspects."

Our coffee fields have grass between the rows to cut down on the amount of work and herbicides needed. Here Curtis is tending to some of the coffee nursery plants, which will mature to full-grown trees in three years. The coffee rows are mowed every 2 to 4 weeks. Vince picks only the ripest coffee for your cup. Coffee berries ripening on the branch. Only the red ones are ready to be picked. After the berries are picked, they are bagged and sent to the processor, who strips off the red skin, washes and dries each bean. After pulping, the beans are laid out on a platform and raked several times a day to dry them. Here, we are raking our Estate coffee on Jim and Kat Perry's deck. Here Vince and his brother Kevin pause after installing the Diedrich coffee roaster. Another part of the Kena Coffee Farm has a 50-year-old macadamia tree orchard. Fresh roasted Kona coffee cooling in our Diedrich IR-7 roaster. The front deck of the Kena Farm coffee shack. Sunrise at the coffee farm. Another glorious day begins!
